This short motion film was created as a study of Argentina during the tumultuous period of 1974 to 1983, juxtaposed against its now “tourist” friendly nature through photos and footage taken in 2017.
Working within After Effects, I aimed to experiment with visual cues and colour to communicate the narrative without the need for heavy amounts of information. The videos key frames relied on the importance of the text, as well as making a point with the archival imagery and featuring effects such as blurring and crossing out faces.
